Lose Fat Not Weight
If I only do a cardio workout, will Muscle Milk Light help me to burn more fat/ lose weight?
I do 45 minutes to an hour, usually on the elliptical and plan on only drinking a shake after my workout. I am concerned that since I am not lifting weights and understand that muscle milk is intended to build muscle, that the calories I intake will simply turn to fat.
If Muscle Milk light won’t help me, what is something that will? What is the ingredient in muscle milk that causes excess fat to burn off?
Nothing in muscle milk burns fat.
Makes of shakes like that can claim their product burns fat because of this : the shakes help build muscle. The more muscle you have, the more calories your body burns at rest, therefore they can claim muscle milk helps burn fat. ( Indirectly )
If you’re not lifting weights, don’t drink any kind of shake. It would be a waste to you because A) you’re not lifting weights and B) they’re quite expensive.
I would suggest lifting weights in an effort to lose weights, however. Lifting weights burns calories not only during the workout, but for up to 24 hours after the workout. And also, building muscle helps you achieve a muscular look ( A.K.A. the “toned” look).
